Trainees who successfully pass the qualification will be issued a forklift certificate recognized by the Labour Department with a validity period of 10 years.

Notes for experienced students:
1. Applicants must provide a company letter or a letter of employment with a forklift operator for one year or more.

Entry Requirements ::
1. Certification from the current employer that the person has operated a counterweight forklift for at least 6 working days; or
 
2. One and a half years of experience in operating a counterbalanced forklift truck in the past five years; or
  3. Have 6 months of experience in operating a counterbalanced forklift truck within the last year; or
  4. Go to the District Office to make a sworn statement to prove that you have work experience that meets the relevant requirements.
